Fall Festival 2008

This year's festival was another hit! Students, parents and faculty alike all had a fantastic time. There was food, games, an art table, KPEC's photo display, a volleyball & basketball tournament, face painting, and Mr. Kohser provided the music. A special thank you goes out to KPEC for all of their hard work.

Thanksgiving Luncheon

Every year Kentwood hosts a wonderful Thanksgiving luncheon for our students. This year was no exception; during our "Happy Thanksgiving Luncheon" our students were all treated to decorations made by the different classrooms, wonderful food, and a speech given by Mr. Fein about the meaning of Thanksgiving.

Winter Decorating Contest

We are proud to announce that Kentwood was invited to participate in a Winter Holiday Decorating Contest. Although this is our first year competing, last year over 45 schools and civic groups participated in this festive holiday event.

Happy Holidays!

Kentwood truly was in the spirit of the season before we started our winter vacation. Nearly all of the classes exchanged gifts, had holiday parties and promoted a general feeling of joy and cheer. We hope you have a fun and safe vacation, plus a happy new year! See you in 2009!

We went to the water park and had a blast! The weather was wonderful, the slides were fun, and the lazy river was fun to float down.

KentFest is a carnival with games, prizes, face painting, pretzels, Italian Icees, and an obstacle course. The Young Adult camp volunteered to run the booths. We all had a great time!!

Overnight Camp was great this year and all of the campers had an amazing time. New friends were made, and we bonded during exciting field trips. The end of the summer came too quickly, but we're looking forward to even more fun next year. See ya then!!

Awards Ceremony 2008This is a collection of pictures taken at Kentwood Prep's 2008 Graduation and Awards Ceremony. The event was a held at the Signature Grand and was a huge success! Thanks to Mr. Fein, Mrs. VanHeyzen, Mr. Kohser, Ms. Rivera, Mrs. Doricent, Ms. Zayas, Mr. Lieberman, the faculty, KPEC, and everyone who attended for making it such a memorable occasion.
